The conference was organized by the Chinese Society of Command and Control, co-hosted by the CICC Space Security Parallel System Professional Committee and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. It was co-sponsored by the Key Laboratory of Space Electro-optical Detection and Perception of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Key Laboratory of Deep Space Star Catalog Detection of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Jiangsu Province Innovation Platform for Microsatellite Situation Awareness and Manipulation Technology.

The theme of the conference was "Integration of Air and Space Domains and Security Challenges," focusing on deep space security, near-earth orbit security, proximity space security, low-altitude security, and other topics in China. The conference aimed to establish a national think tank for air and space security through multi-level exchanges between "government, industry, academia, and research." More than 130 experts and scholars from universities, defense industry departments, commercial space companies, and other fields participated in the exchange and discussion.
